Yellowfin Tuna – B & P
Scientific name – Thunnus albacares
Yellowfin tuna meat has a mild, meaty flavour and has large flakes. The meat is bright red in its raw state but turns brown to greyish-tan, firm and moist when cooked.
Tuna offcuts are the bits and pieces from the processing, these are good for fish pie or kebabs, these are bone free, skin free and 100% usable meats. This will be vacuumed packed to hold the freshness and shelf life.
